What it takes to be an E-commerce Website Design Champion

The use of e-commerce website for increasing the sales of the company is at its peak. This could be seen from the significant number of e-commerce websites owned by the large and small organisations. However, it is not just about having an e-commerce website, but more important is the e-commerce website design used to attract and gain the attention of the customers. This means that the only means through which the customers could be attracted is by making these websites complying with the choices and also perfect in their delivery of the ideas for them, which for the most part refers to the design of the website. Making a website remains an easy task while there are certain mistakes that turn them into a nightmare for the businesses. A few of these are made available below to help you to stay on the right track and achieve a positive change in your bottom line:

Erroneous Apparent Value Proposition

Letting them know the value proposition is like sharing your values with them. Although, lacking in this little part is very common as the websites limit their approaches and so the readers are kept from going further to explore the website. The expectations are high that if there is a little conversion advice provided by the website then there are greater chances of more loyal and abundant customers. The criterion here should remain that if the customers are aware of what is being bought by them, then they should be buying it from you!

Erroneous Products Descriptions

Why discard it when it’s important for the customers? Yes, the customers take the product descriptions with great importance. The idea here remains, does outlook and design of the website matter? Or there is a blank space left if there is no description or guideline for the customers? So, why not to adjust the images and add some words to them, so that they will know what they are here for and getting through.

Erroneous Utilisation of Quality Images

Are the words fine to take the place of the images? Or the quality of the image of low importance? Websites that lack their delivery of the quality images are in many ways an important means of communication for the customers. So, make them understand and know your message more quickly by using quality images or visual art.

Erroneous Visual Hierarchy or awareness about Fitt's Law

Understanding the importance of visual hierarchy needs not to be known only if you are a web designer, instead if the website is easy to navigate and leads you straight to the targeted area then it’s called skilled visual hierarchies. Such as, all accent colored texts available underneath each image to link the page that has been desired by the customers and further unlinked information to let the client know where it would be leading them to. Other than this, making these clickable links larger and more noticeable is somewhat the idea driven from the Fitt’s law, which determines that the larger and more visible images are more conspicuous and helps the products and services stand out from the rest of the page.
